Summary:
Providing professional and administrative Human Resources support and services to the GA Plant/CDC and to the Human Resources Specialist.
Creating, maintaining, processing, and updating HR employee records, HR systems, new hire processes, health benefits data, payroll, and policies and procedures governed by the company.
Role Description:
The management of processes involving, but not limited to, employee data, payroll, Human Resources record and reporting, policy and procedures, FMLA, WC, etc.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Maintain/supervise data entry into HRIS systems, job posting, screening of resumes & applicants, and recruitment Processing of new hires, transfers, and terminations in all relevant HR & Benefit systems Payroll prep for Time & Labor, EE changes and adjustments, etc.
Employee document filing and New Hire Personnel file creation New Hire Onboarding & Orientation Background, E-Verify, and Form I-9 processing and administration FMLA and WC administration and assistance Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work
Experience:
3
years' experience in Human Resources with exposure to employment processes, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, payroll process, etc.
preferred.
Bachelor's Degree preferred (Human Resources or Business Administration related) Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional demeanor on phone and in-person, strong communication skills Organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task Team worker, good attitude, energetic Bilingual a plus (Spanish, Korean) Initiative skills Problem solving skills Strong in Mathematics and Accounting Computer literate (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as familiarity with SAP Understanding of General Accounting Principles Payroll Experience with Paylocity - Plus MS Office skills (specially Excel skills) Physical Demands:
Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
Position requires minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.
Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
Position requires travel up to 10% of time.
