Summary:
The Expander Operator is responsible for all aspects of production at the expanding unit.
This position coordinates with all other positions on this machine to ensure smooth flow of material.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for controlling production(recipe and all production conditions) Works with all other positions to ensure smooth operation of material through machine Assists in areas of production when needed by other operators Operates powered equipment needed during material processing Follows strict safety procedures, including proper lockout and shutdown procedures for cleaning and inspecting of machinery TPM responsibility for machinery (cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining like new machine status) Ensures that work area is free of safety hazards and clutter Become part of the team with other members on the machine and take ownership of process and problems Performs other duties as assigned by the Shift Leader, Supervisor, or Production Manager Job Type:
