5K a year Sample/ Rug Supervisor We are currently seeking an experienced Samples/ Rug Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
The role requires the ability to manage employees and organize workflow.
The ability to optimize day-to-day activities while maintaining a safe work environment is also essential to ensuring maximum quality and efficiency.
Sample/Rug Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of a group of employees in the Samples and Rugs departments including estimating personnel needs, assigning work, conducting training and development, policy, and safety compliance, etc.
Knowledge of all essential equipment and ability to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
Ability to generate and submit reports on performance.
Promote safety by leading pre-shift safety meetings, working on safety projects, supporting safety within the department, completing safety surveys, and performing safety training.
Resolve employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques, utilizing Human Resources to assist in solving unresolved work-related problems when needed.
Ensure quality requirements and procedures for the department and plant are understood and met.
Lead a high-performance team with a positive attitude, professionalism, and inclusive mindset.
Sample/ Rug Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications Proven work experience as a Sample or Rug Supervisor or similar role Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities Effective communication and people skills Strong work ethic--self-motivated and result driven.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
High School Diploma or GED 3 years' experience Samples & Rugs Supervision (preferred) Job Type:
