Machine Operator Position Overview:
Nippon Light Metal Georgia, Inc.
(NLM) is seeking Machine Operators to join our rapidly growing company located in Adairsville, Georgia.
While we are in the start-up phase of the company, this position offers an opportunity for candidates to be a key team member for the foundation of our company! Now is a great time to join our team! NLM is a comprehensive manufacturer of aluminum products with diverse offerings ranging from aluminum raw material to fabricated products.

Machine Operators will be cross trained on multiple machines and responsible for setting up and operating assigned machine to prepare automobile parts throughout the process.
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct visual inspection specific to each machine prior to starting shift and periodically throughout each shift Follow the production schedule set by Production Manager Contribute to the production of quality product by following all defined quality procedures Monitor the process to ensure proper equipment operation and output Notify supervisor and maintenance of any equipment issues Assist with troubleshooting when needed Maintain Safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment including a band saw, drill press, lathe and tensile tester.

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to manipulate, handle and feel objects, tools or controls.
The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, and crouch.
The employee must be able to speak and hear and must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to auto focus.
Must be able to work through climate changes, extreme heat and cold temperatures Minimum
Qualifications:
Education / Work Experience High school diploma or a G.

is preferred Previous experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred Familiarity with Lock-out/tag-out procedures is preferred Attributes/skills:
Learn quickly and pay attention to details Prioritize, schedule and review work Must be able to understand, follow and communicate in both oral and written instructions Work independently with little direction.
